Request your export
Ask the platform for your data, the way the law says you can. It arrives as a zip file, usually by email, usually days later.

Portie turns the data export files the big platforms give you into something you can actually read. Everything happens on your phone - nothing you import ever leaves it.
Exports Portie reads
You have a legal right to a copy of your data, so TikTok and Spotify and Meta hand you a zip file full of JSON and consider the matter closed. It's technically compliance and practically a shrug — nobody reads 190,000 lines of master_metadata_album_artist_name.
Portie reads it for you. Point it at an export and it becomes a browsable, searchable history of what you actually did
How it works
01
Ask the platform for your data, the way the law says you can. It arrives as a zip file, usually by email, usually days later.
02
Open the zip in Portie. It reads the JSON, works out what each file is, and builds an index. The import runs on the device; nothing is uploaded.
03
Browse by date, search by name, see what you watched, played, posted and messaged. The same records, in an order a person can follow.
Privacy
An export is the most complete record of you that exists. Portie is built so that it stays yours.
There is no Portie account and no backend. Parsing, indexing and search all run on the device.
Nothing about the contents of an import is measured, sent or stored anywhere but your phone.
Removing an import removes the files and the index with it. Nothing is kept in a cache you cannot see.
Portie is pre-launch. Leave an email and you will hear once when the TestFlight build is open, and once when it ships. Your address is used for those two mails and nothing else.
